Arlington

Arlington County in Northern Virginia or in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area is without a doubt what a lot of people call a prime location.  It is a known suburb very close to Washington DC downtown.  It has a good mix of commercial and residential neighborhoods such as Clarendon, Rosslynn, Courthouse, Lyon Village, Maywood, Cherrydale just to name a few.

Route 50 does divide Arlington County into North Arlington  (easy trick odd numbers for zip codes 22201,22203,22205,22207,22209,22213) and South Arlington (even numbers 22202,22204,22206,22208).  North Arlington was favored when Metro was developed since it got a larger number of metro stations (Orange  Metro line). South Arlington only has 2 metro Stations, Pentagon City, and Crystal City.
